Welcome to Vine Street

Vine Street Christian Church is a historic Nashville church with a passion for a contemporary faith. We are a community defined by the openness of Christ’s Table: we have found welcome at the communion table of our Lord, regardless of the many different roads that brought us there, and we serve God by extending that welcome to others. No matter who you are or where you are on your faith journey, at Vine Street you have a seat at the table.

We hope you will find in these pages the information you need – and if you are looking for a community of faith where you will continue to grow spiritually, we hope to meet you in person.

The Next Few Days at Vine Street

May Picnic—Wednesday—May14th

We’re having a picnic on the playground for all members and friends to celebrate the end of the school year.

 Menu:  Hotdogs, baked beans, potato salad, ice-cream sandwiches and lemonade.  Cost is $4.00 per person or $15.00  family max. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner Served at 6:00.

Vine Street - The Journey

Our second Journey weekend is May 16-18.

On Saturday, May 17, 9am-4pm, George Bullard will report the results of our first weekend in April. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, and all members and friends are encouraged to participate. Please sign up so we know you are coming and can plan for lunch.

On Sunday, May 18, following the 10:45 worship service, George Bullard will introduce us to the Summer of Prayer. We will meet in the Fellowship Hall, and the meeting will begin with lunch. All members and friends are welcome to attend, especially those who wish to participate in a prayer triplet during the summer. Please sign up so we know you are coming and can plan for lunch.
