Children's Ministries

We provide Christian Education in a positive environment, using the Live Big curriculum.  In addition to Sunday School classes, 9:30 each Sunday, our children enjoy Bible stories, music, fellowship and fun during the 10:45 worship service.

Vine Time & Children's Worship

Immediately following the Children’s Conversation during the 10:45 Sunday worship service, small children (ages 4 through 2nd grade) are invited to attend Vine Time in Room 3 of the Children’s Wing.  During Vine Time, the younger children continue their worship experience through stories and activites based on the lectionary texts from the day. In addition, the younger children may sing songs, do crafts, have a snack, read, play games or, if weather permits, play on the playground.  Children from grades 3 through 6 are invited to Children’s Worship led by Hope Hodnett, Director of Youth Ministries, which is held on the stage in the front of the fellowship hall.  Children in grades 7 through 12 remain in the sanctuary during worship.

Childrens' Choirs

Children of all ages participate in choirs that give them the opportunity to sing, play instruments and most importantly grow in their faith together. Periodically during the school year, the children share their musical gifts in Sunday morning worship.
