Extended Session & Children's Worship

Immediately following the Children’s Conversation during the 10:45 Sunday worship service, small children (ages 4 through 1st grade) are invited to attend an Extended Session in the Children’s Wing.  During Extended Session which is guided by volunteer parents, the younger children may sing songs, do crafts, have a snack, read, play games or, if weather permits, play on the playground.  Children from grades 2 through 6 are invited to Children’s Worship led by Hope Hodnett, Director of Youth Ministries, which is held in the Youth Wing behind the church.  Children in grades 7 through 12 remain in the sanctuary during worship.

Childrens' Choirs

Guided by Andra Moran, Director, and Julia Callaway, Organist and Director of Music Ministries, children of all ages participate in choirs that give them the opportunity to sing, play instruments and most importantly grow in their faith together.  Monthly during the school year, the children share their musical gifts in Sunday morning worship.
