All of us appreciate someone who is knowledgeable and trustworthy when it comes to handling our money.  At VSCC that person is Linda Bussey our accountant.  Linda came to us from Illinois in 2004.  Her primary duties include making deposits, paying the bills, preparing our quarterly statements and the duty that takes a great deal of time and patience, dealing with our vendors.  She also is always so willing to answer any questions regarding our individual accounts.

Linda has an interesting personal life with her husband Tadson who is Executive Director of the International Association for Graphic Artists.  Design competitions for colleges and universities are judged here and the winning designs are presented at a national conference each year. Tadson is responsible for the national conferences held in different cities, i.e. Las Vagas, Seattle and Savannah.  Linda helps with registration at the conferences (not a bad assignment). Linda’s daughter Dawn is a hospice nurse whose son Jarred  is 11years old.   Lucky Linda picks Jarred up from school each day which has given her the opportunity to spend time with her grandchild many of us would envy.

Finally when there’s time she loves to cook, especially baking.  Bead weaving has given her much pleasure but has been put aside since they got two puppies, a Bull Dog and a King Charles Cavalier.  Taking all things into consideration Linda is one busy lady.
