Music and More

The worship experience on Sunday mornings at Vine Street offers opportunity for a variety of music and more.  Our Chancel Choir led by T.J. McLaughlin sings one or more anthems at 10:45 worship nearly every Sunday throughout the year.  New members are welcome to join in the song at any 7:00 p.m. Thursday night rehearsal .  Our summer rehearsal schedule will be announced soon.

The Joyful Noise group led by Joe Keith presents a special gift of music at both services on the third Sunday of the month.  Vocalists and instrumentalists are invited to join the group at any of their 6:00 p.m. Wednesday practices. 

Under the leadership of Andra Moran, our Children's Choir and members of the T.E.A.M music group for youth have offered special gifts of music monthly during the school year.  Rehearsals for these groups for children and youth will conclude on May 12 with "Popsicles on the Playground".   Watch for an annoucement of plans for a visiting Children's Choir in June.

In addition to music presented on the organ or piano, instrumentalists in the congregation and guest musicians often share music in worship.  Please contact Julia Callaway if you have an interest in sharing a musical gift in worship this summer.
