Almost All the Stops!

Julia Callaway How exciting it was to play "Hallelujah" from Handel's MESSIAH at the end of our Easter Service with so many folks singing along! Granted, there were a few folks who preferred to chat while others sang or listened but by the end of the Chorus when we pulled our "almost all the stops" on the organ, we finished worship together with a grand HALLELUJAH! Thanks to T.J. McLaughlin for directing, the Chancel Choir for leading the choral parts, and Alan Suska, trumpet and Harley Tartarsky, timpani for their musical support through another Easter at VSCC.
During our Easter Service we also enjoyed the joyful singing of our Children's Choir directed by Andra, our ever faithful Chancel Choir's stirring anthems, and the rich and warm sound of Sarah Steeves playing viola with organ during communion!
We look forward to the next opportunity for worship when we just might pull out ALL the stops on the organ. Check here later for our next GOTTA TOCCATA POSTLUDE announcement.
