Vine Street Christian Church was treated to a slugfest on a recent gorgeous Sunday afternoon as the Vanderbilt University baseball team took on South Carolina at Hawkins Field. Though the Commodores came up a run shy, losing the contest 10-9, the group enjoyed cheering on the Vandy Boys in the closing game of the weekend series.
Tailgating prior to the first pitch, everyone enjoyed chicken, fries, mac & cheese and dessert—plus some Frisbee and good conversation. Thank you, Jeff Miller and the Membership Committee, for this home-run event!
