Today We Rambled!
Every Wednesday morning, Vine Street, World Convention and Nouvelle Aliance staff members gather for conversation and prayer. We talk about the important things in our lives, our concerns for others, things we like and don't like. We laugh, sometimes cry, we pray together and begin our day with a sense of camaraderie and friendship we didn't feel before. "We're actually on the same mission!"
Today, we rambled!
We started down a path of the importance of bringing healthy food from local farmers back into the community. “We can help the farmers.” From there we roamed into a discussion of the film Water. “We take so, so much for granted.” Then we tiptoed into a conversation about firekeepers of long ago who maintained a fire 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. “These people have seen an unprecedented amount of change.” We traveled quickly toward the subject of change; how very, very necessary, yet very, very difficult it is. “People just feel like they need something in their lives to stay the same.”
We migrated into a deeper discussion about those people: the many, many changes they’ve seen over the years, the things they’ve learned, the hardships they’ve endured. Each one has picked up something in their lives to teach us; each one has something they need to learn, each one a need, each one a gift to offer. Each one is so very, very valuable, and has so much purpose in the grand scheme of things. "Every Single Person is so very, very important.”

That was some good rambling!
'Rambling' with you is one of the highlights of my week! The time we spend sharing God in the work we do and the lives we live is precious - and fuels my faith understanding. You are all blessings!
