Virginia Dodge Fielder, frequent visitor to Vine Street prior to the pandemic, asks for prayers for her native Wayne County and, in particular, for Waynesboro First Christian Church. To date, 12 Wayne Countians have passed away from COVID-19, including a prominent physician (whose death led to one of only a few mask mandates in rural Tennessee counties) and, at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, a man whose family membership at First Christian dates from the 1920s. Virginia also has lost a second cousin and Wayne Countians with whom she attended school to COVID-19. Thank you for remembering them in your prayers.
Thursday prayers
Lyn Dorris’s dad, John, after weeks of not feeling well and inconclusive tests, has been hospitalized. Please remember him and his family in your prayers.
Jean and Orlan Lorton, the parents of Helen Trabue and Malinda Moseley, are in quarantine until December 12 after testing positive for Covid 19. Both only have mild symptoms, and we pray for their swift and full recovery.
We are grateful that Larry Adams and David Goins are doing much better, though they continue to experience fatigue

Tuesday prayers
Katie McLaughlin’s grandmother, Dorothy Hood, has been diagnosed with COVID. She is 94 years old, living in a nursing home, and has other medical conditions that make her a high risk patient. She is currently not showing any COVID symptoms, and we hope with Katie and the whole family, that she will soon recover from the infection. Katie and her sister have not been able to see their grandmother this year.
Larry Adams asks for prayers for his partner, David Goin. David’s administrative assistant was recently diagnosed with COVID, and a few days ago he fell ill as well. He has tested positive, and hopefully his symptoms will continue to me mild until he fully recovers. Larry has been tested and he expects to be diagnosed with COVID as well.
Thank you for your prayers and for your efforts to keep each other safe! Please continue to remember the hospital workers, from doctors and nurses to orderlies and chaplains, who are working at great risk to their own health, on the verge of exhaustion, and still facing rising numbers of infections.

Probability of success is high, but her recovery will be unpleasant and the outcome unknown for several weeks. She asks to be remembered in our prayers.

Joe Keith has completed his twelfth chemo treatment. He’s waiting for a PET scan appointment and will be waiting about two weeks for the results.
John Dorris, Lyn Dorris’s dad, has not been feeling well recently; he has undergone several tests and is waiting for the results.
We continue to pray for Micah Snow and his family who are mourning the sudden and unexpected death of his dad, Randy Snow.
