Fellowship at Vine Street

Annual Events

Each year we gather for fellowship as a church community. In February, we celebrate the Festival of Cakes – one part fundraiser for the youth group, and one part celebration of sweetness and love. As well, we gather to celebrate community and creativity each year for Trunk or Treat. And as we prepare for Advent, we gather as a church family for the Annual Harvest Luncheon every November to share a meal, honor the stewards among us and give thanks for our welcoming community.

Monthly Events

Lunch With Friends meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall – this is a time for fellowship and often times mahjong (don’t worry if you don’t know how to play – we’ll teach you!)

Brew Crew meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at various watering holes around Nashville – this is a great opportunity to catch up with one another over any kind of beverage and enjoy the fellowship of the Vine Street family.

Vine Street at the Movies meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the South Meeting room – curated by cinephile and member Jim Carls, each month’s selection comes with a story and is perfect for all ages.

Book Studies

For those interested in short-term study engagements, we typically offer 2-4 book studies per year – often times on Sunday mornings, but also during the week to accommodate participant schedules. Recent book studies include:

Paul the Progressive

A five-week book study on “Paul the Progressive” by Rev. Dr. Eric Smith.

Together we explored how Paul’s letters have been interpreted through history – and what fresh insights they may hold for us today.

The Bible Says So

The Bible is the world’s most influential book, but do we really know what it says? TikTok sensation and biblical scholar Dan McClellan's new book tackles some of our pressing questions in an easy to understand deep dive into the Bible.

We had a 4-week study on Sunday mornings led by Rev. Wesley King to learn and struggle with relevant questions of faith today.
