Annual Stewardship Campaign 2026

Whether you’ve been part of Vine Street for decades or you’re just beginning to find your place here, I’m so glad you’re part of this community.

Each year, we launch a Stewardship Campaign where we invite members and friends of Vine Street to make a pledge—a commitment to financially support the church in the year ahead. This year, our Stewardship Campaign theme is "A Wider Table"—a vision that reflects who we are and who we're called to be. 

Why pledging matters

First, every gift to Vine Street makes a difference. Weekly or occasional offerings are a meaningful way many people support the life of our church, and we are deeply grateful for that generosity.

The true power of a pledge is the clarity it provides. It lets our leaders plan responsibly and faithfully for what’s next. When our leaders know what financial support to expect, they can budget thoughtfully, be proactive rather than reactive, reduce risk, and steward resources with care. It allows Vine Street not only to sustain what we love, but to imagine what more might be possible.

Year in review

Here are a few of the ways your pledged gifts helped widen the table this year:

• We supported local outreach through Community Ministry Grants, which provided $35,200 to 20 local organizations.

• We sustained music ministries, from chancel choir to children’s Christmas Cantata, and maintaining our piano and organ.

• We cared for our building and grounds so they remain welcoming for both our congregation and the wider community.

• We supported our faith leaders, who shepherd us with empathy, intellect, and hope.

• We funded children’s ministries like Sunday School, nursery care, and camp scholarships.

• We created space for connection through gatherings like Harvest Luncheon, Festival of Cakes, Lunch with Friends, and Vine Street @ The Movies.

None of this happens by accident. It happens because people choose to invest in this special place.

As we look toward the year ahead, I invite you to consider making a pledge to Vine Street. Every commitment, large or small, helps shape the life of this community.

How do I MAKE My Pledge?

1. Go to https://www.vinestreet.org/give-financially 

2. Select Make a pledge

3. Complete the required fields

4. Select Submit

You’ll receive a confirmation email based on the giving frequency you selected, as well as an annual statement for tax purposes.

CAN I SET UP AN Electronic Bank Draft?

Yes, you can enroll in Electronic Bank Draft. This option automatically withdraws your gift from your bank account each month and avoids processing fees for the church. If you’re interested, indicate this on your pledge form. You’ll need to complete an Electronic Bank Authorization form and include a voided check.
