Ted and Sondra Lee
Sondra and Ted will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 9. They were married in the sanctuary at Vine Street on 7/9/1960. "Vine St. Church has been an integral part of our lives as our three children were dedicated at birth, nurtured and taught by caring teachers, and later baptized into the faith. The friendships we have developed in this Christian community have filled our lives with meaning and joy. We give thanks to God for blessing our marriage and for His love and care for us and our family over the years." Congratulations!
Mark Edwards
Linda Edwards's husband, Mark is at Baptist Hospital for monitoring. He was admitted with atrial fibrillation.
A Friend
Marion Adamson asks that we pray for Chuck Hendry, a young man of 40 who has leukemia and lymphoma. Chuck went home on Monday, and we hope that his final days will be days of peace. We also remember his family and friends.
Chuck died last night. Please continue to pray for his family and friends.
Jim Seale
Dr. James M. Seale, friend and former member of Vine Street Christian Church and President Emeritus of the Disciples of Christ Historical Society, died in Hopkinsville, KY. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday, June 29, 11am at First Christian Church in Hopkinsville, with visitation at 10am. Please note that this information was still tentative when we posted this notice.
The memorial service is on Tuesday at 11 in Hopkinsville. The burial will be on Wednesday in Frankfort, KY.
LaRuth Faubion
LaRuth Faubion now lives at Homewood Residence at Brookmont Terrace in Bellevue, and she is looking forward to our calls, visits, and cards.

Paul and Mary Ann Johnson
Paul and Mary Ann became great grandparents with the birth of Lincoln Eben Huntress on June 18. Linc and his parents, Andrew and Lydia, live in Booneville, New York.
The Moss Family

LaRuth Faubion
LaRuth fell about one week ago and was in the hospital with a broken arm. She is now in the Greenhills Rehab Center and expects to be there for 2 to 3 weeks. After that, she will go into assisted living at Homewood.
Chris Lovell's mother
Helen Lovell passed away late Monday night at her home in Kodak, TN. Her husband John was with her. A celebration of her life will be planned later. We have appreciated Vine Street's support, good thoughts and prayers during Helen's long illness. Chris, Carla, Caitlyn and Carson
Margaret Hall
Margaret Hall's sister, Kassie Dickerson, died on Monday, May 24 in Richmond VA.
Moseley family
Stephen Moseley's grandmother, Rena Ranch (his mom's mom), passed away on May 24 in Denver, CO. She was in hospice care, managing pain and infection for the last couple weeks. She was 90 years old. Stephen and Malinda will be in Colorado for the funeral this week.
Fleet Allen
Fleet died early Friday morning. He had spent his final days at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas. Funeral plans are being made. Visitation will very likely be on Sunday afternoon/evening, with the funeral services following on Monday at Vine Street and burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Fleet Allen's health is rapidly declining and tests reveal cancer has spread to his liver and adrenal glands.

Lyn Dorris is mourning the death of her grandmother, Mama 'one. Ione Smith passed away on Thursday, April 22; the funeral is on Monday, April 26.

Mary Ann will have joint replacement surgery on her right shoulder on Wednesday, April 21 at St. Thomas. Paul and Mary Ann will be living temporarily at Park Manor while Mary Ann recovers from surgery.

Fred Fisher, a former member of Vine Street Christian Church, died on April 11 in Richmond VA; he was 74 years old. Graveside services will be held at 3pm on Friday, April 16 in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville.
