Glen Barnes is recuperating at home from hip replacement surgery. He will begin physical therapy today.
Pat Foster's brother, Richard, is again recovering from a fall. He had just returned home from assisted living where he had spent the past couple of months recovering from previous falls and injuries and waiting for his home to be rebuilt after the flood.
Jim Foglesong is recuperating at home after a recent fall.
Janis Wootten's mother, Monica Moulton, is in rehab at West Meade Place after breaking her pelvis recently; she is looking forward to returning to Park Manor soon.
Little Paige may have neuroblastoma, which, at her age, comes with a good prognosis. Please continue to keep her and her family in your prayers.
Glen had hip replacement surgery this week. Everything went very well, and he was able to go home on Friday, September 10. He will begin physical therapy on Monday.

Our friends in New Zealand, Lyndsay, Lorraine, and Phillippa Jacobs, are well after the recent earthquake. No one was injured, and the damage to their home was minimal. They will send a more complete report once power has been restored. The epicenter of the quake was only 7 miles from Lyndsay and Lorraine's home.
Jim was admitted to Baptist Hospital due to a fall. He hopes to go home today.
One of Celet's brothers died of an infection last week in Kisangani, Democratic Republic of Congo. He was 47 years old. Thank you for keeping Celet and his family in your prayers.

Charles Zamata died this morning from cancer. He had been at home and under hospice care, and all who love him are grateful that his suffering is over. We ask for your prayers for his wife, Laura and for Jim as well as for Jim's brother Glenn. Funeral arrangements are being made, and Jim may travel to Jackson sometime this week.
Morton Boggs, the brother-in-law of Jane Goidel, is having surgery this coming week. The family asks for our prayers.

Roger Young had a heart attack yesterday and is in St. Thomas Hospital. He had two stents put in and is doing ok.
We are thankful that Mark had a successful quadruple bypass and aortic valve replacement surgery Tuesday, July 27. He is recovering at Baptist Hospital. A big load has been lifted from Linda's heart and shoulders and she is feeling better as well.
Dick Schellhardt had knee replacement surgery on Mon, July 19. He is now facing a few weeks of rehabilitation.
Please remember Linda and Mark Edwards, as he will face heart surgery within the next few days. In addition to Mark's care, Linda carries the responsibility of caring for aging parents while maintaining her career as a school teacher.
Risley Lawrence is having trouble with a continuing infection in his prosthetic hip and is taking a very, strong, new medication. Being as strong physically and spiritually as he is, he only needs your prayers that the medication will work. He and Elizabeth are planning a trip to San Diego from July 18 through 25, but look forward to seeing all of you again on August 1.

Lise and Blake Matthews ask for prayers for a close friend and co-worker, Pele Godkin, whose husband Israel drowned in Washington state last weekend. The couple has a child due in November.
