Monday Update
We continue to pray for stability and security in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Alex Cauthen has been in and out of the hospital due to his bone marrow disorder, and we continue to hold him and his family in our prayers.
Priscilla Hutton will have her pacemaker replaced on Wednesday, and she and her daughter, Betsy von Dohlen, ask for our prayers. "It is outpatient and said to be no big deal. However, prayer is always comforting."
We celebrate with Dick and Mary Ann Schellhardt that Dick will move back to their condo after an extended stay at the Heritage nursing facility for rehabilitation.
We celebrate that Al Smith was able to join us in worship again yesterday after a long absence due to severe back pain.

Jim Zamata asks for prayers for his brother, Glenn; he has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Glenn lives in Crossville, TN.
Dick Schellhardt expects to move from the health care unit back to their condo at the Heritage after Thanksgiving. We are grateful that he has regained so much of his strength!
Denise Mistich will have her last day in the church office on Wednesday. Please hold her in your prayers as she transitions to her new work with The Lazarus Project. We also ask for your prayers for our staff as they prepare to take on additional responsibilities for a while, and for the personnel committee who are studying resumes and beginning the interview process to fill the position.

On Sunday we celebrated with Eric and Allison Hutton the dedication of their daughter, Sarah Emily.
Reagan Freeman, a freshman at Harpeth Hall, won the state cross country meet on Saturday. Wow! Congratulations, Reagan!

Joe Keith's mother, Ollie Thompson, is being treated for an infection at St. Thomas.
Dan McGeachy's mother is very ill with cancer, and his dad is having serious health problems as well. Dan added his beautiful voice to the choir on Sunday, for their moving rendition of How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place from the Brahms Requiem.
We celebrate the ministry of the Vine Time children! They made necklaces and, selling them for $1 each, raised $47 for our ministry with the homeless. Thank you!

Jim is mourning the death of his aunt Jenny. She was his mother's sister and lived in Chicago.

Cheryl is mourning the death of her friend, Ashley. They had known each other since high school; Ashley died on Monday after a long battle with cancer.
Wednesday update
Al Smith continues to receive physical therapy at Richland Health Center and he continues to feel better and stronger. His daughter is organizing some minor modifications of his home (gravel driveway needs to be paved, a couple of doors need to be widened); once the work is done, there's a good chance Al may be able to return home.
Update on Dick Schellhardt
Dick has transferred back to The Heritage, where he and Mary Ann live. He will be in the Nursing Home division, but very close to Mary Ann.
Monday Update
Carroll Wallace, a minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and a member of Jericho Brass in Chattanooga, asks for prayers for his grandson, Garrett Travis. Garrett has a very rare disease which returned recently, and is now recuperating from surgery. Jericho Brass played in worship on October 2, World Communion Sunday.
