John Reed
John Reed will be leaving for Texas on February 19 to begin his Air National Guard Training, and he's expected to be back in Nashville in late September. Please keep him in your prayers as he takes this next step in his life.
Ed Lorton
We ask for prayers for Ed Lorton who will be hospitalized on Monday for a series of tests. He is having kidney, heart and lung problems. Ed is the grandfather of Helen Trabue and Malinda Moseley.

Jackie Postell
Jackie is scheduled for cataract surgery on February 19. She needs help with transportation that morning, both before and after the procedure. If you are free to be of assistance to her, please get in touch with Thomas. Thank you!
Bronson Netterville
Thank you for all the ways in which you have expressed your love and concern for Bronson. Thank you for your prayers, your cards, and your visits. Bronson has been ready for a couple of days to move to a regular hospital room, and it looks like it will happen today; they'd only been waiting for a room to become available. Margaret continues to receive physical therapy, and the good news about Bronson may just give her wings. These past weeks have been very difficult for the two of them, and now a great weight has been lifted from their shoulders.
Emily Trump
Emily Trump's grandmother, Jo Ann W. Harwell died on Monday, February 4, at age 86. Her funeral will be on Wednesday, February 6 at Natchez Trace Church of Christ.
Monday Update
We welcome new members, Phill and Casey Sigmon, who joined our congregation on Sunday. Phill is a chaplain with hospice, and Casey is a Ph.D. student at Vanderbilt Divinity School. They are looking forward to the birth of their first child, Viola.
Bill and Bea Irvin, paternal grandparents to Grant and Kennedy Shuler, were injured in the parking lot of a McDonalds last week in Wytheville, VA, where they live. Bill has a severely broken ankle and will have surgery on February 9th. Bea was not injured but is shaken up by the incident.
Rev. Art Digby who served as Interim Minister at Vine Street in 1998/99, died on Sunday, February 3 in Texas. Memorials may be made to the Arthur and Joy Digby scholarship fund at Brite Divinity School, Texas Christian University.
Erica Well's aunt, Oliva had a stroke and is in ICU in Puerto Rico.
Margaret Netterville is now at Stalworth for rehab. The family is making plans for her to have somebody stay with her when she returns home. Bronson continues to be hospitalized in fragile condition.
Please continue to remember in your prayers Gloria Brinton and her daugther, Laurie. Laurie was infected with fungal meningitis last year, and after months in the hospital, she has been at home for about a month now. She is very ill, and Gloria takes care of her.

Mitch Warren had surgery yesterday to repair a hip fracture. He is at Vanderbilt hospital. Please keep him and Norma in your prayers.

Prayer concern
Jim ClenDening asks for prayers for the family of Alex. He is 6 years old, and is fighting for his life. In December he had a malignant tumor removed from his brain, but it has spread to his spine. He is now undergoing intense radiation and chemo therapy. We ask for prayers for Alex and his parents, Elizabeth and Chris, who are also trying to take care of their two-year-old twins during this trying time. Elizabeth is a good friend of Jim's daughter, Michele.

Margaret Oliphant, age 95, had a stroke on Saturday and is at Summit Medical Center. She is unresponsive and not expected to live. Margaret's husband, Gordon was a long time member of our congregation, and she continued to be interested in life at Vine Street even though she could not attend worship.
