While Clara Martin appears to be healing from her recent surgery, she is now hospitalized for another matter. She's in good spirits as the doctors care for her and is grateful for our prayers.

It is with a heavy heart that I share with you the passing of Kathy Jeffries. Kathy was an elder at New Covenant Christian Church and active in regional ministry, especially in women's ministry for many years. Those who knew her were blessed to know a special person. I ask you to join with me in prayer for her husband Kermit, her family and friends who grieve her passing. Her funeral will beSaturday, February 22, at 12:30 PM at New Covenant Christian Church, 2201 Osage Street, Nashville. Visitation with the family will be 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM.

Carol Doidge is the very happy grandmother of a little boy! Cara and Billy Doidge Kilgore's son doesn't have a name yet, but they are overjoyed to finally see him. He was born on Wednesday, Feb. 5 weighing 9 lbs 11 oz and measuring 21 inches; both he and his mom are tired but healthy. Congratulations!
