Mission: Music City to Motown

The youth group is on its way to leading our congregation on Mission: Music City to Motown. This journey to Detroit finds youth and adults partnering with the nonprofit ministry Rippling Hope. The majority of their work projects will be basic outdoor home improvements for older individuals.

Please keep in your prayers Hope, Eva, Brooke, Lise, Sarah, Julia, Samayah, Miles, Josh, Molly, Crawford and Raz. The group will return to Nashville July 19.

Donna Woods

Donna fell and fractured her shoulder and hip. She is scheduled for surgery on Thursday morning to repair both her shoulder and hip socket. She will have weeks of recovery and rehabilitation. This accident happened only days after her husband Vaughn's, and the two will need our prayers and support.

Balkan relief and recovery

More than 100,000 people remain displaced in the aftermath of the unprecedented floods that ravaged Bosnia, Serbia and other Balkan countries last month. Altogether, the floods claimed more than 75 lives, affected more than one million people and caused damages up to several billions of dollars. Officials in Bosnia fear the costs of the damages could exceed that of the 1992-1995 war. Read more about our response through Week of Compassion, and thank you for your prayers.
