The service will be on Sunday, April 7, at 2 pm at Vine Street Christian Church with burial in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation has not been scheduled; Debra invites friends to come to her home after the burial.
Wednesday prayer requests
Bill Cannon died on Tuesday afternoon, surrounded by friends and family. Thank you for continuing to keep Debra and all who love Bill in your prayers. Once funeral arrangements have been confirmed we will share them with the congregation.
Joan Strasinger is recuperating at home after surgery and overnight hospitalization. Joan fell and broke her elbow when a very excited dog accidentally pushed her over on Tuesday. Thank you for your prayers for Joan.
Jackie Halstead will be in Kenya, April 5-14, to lead the East Africa Women's Retreat for missionaries and English-speaking Kenyans. We pray for safe travel for her and all participants, and a fruitful retreat.
Saturday update
We ask for prayers for Bill and Debra Cannon. Bill is in ICU after suffering a major cardiac event last night.
Virginia Grimm is still hospitalized but expected to return tomorrow to her residence at Charter Senior Living in Hermitage. Thank you for continuing to hold her close in prayer.

Monday afternoon prayer updates
Wayne McNatt is scheduled for a second surgery Tuesday morning. This will prepare his leg for being able to fit and rehabilitate with a prosthesis. Please continue to pray for Wayne, his upcoming surgery and the rehabilitation to follow.
Julia Callaway asks us to pray for those affected by the floods in Papua, New Guinea, town of Sentani; relatives of the Callaway family, the Ingles, are doing mission work there. Over fifty people have died but the Ingles family is safe and is ministering to those injured and needing shelter, food, and water.

Wayne McNatt
Another brother of Lester’s, Wayne McNatt has been hospitalized in Marietta, GA with a severe foot infection. He will have to have his foot removed; the surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning with a follow up procedure on Monday or Tuesday. Please pray for Wayne, and his two boys, Marlon and Marshall and all of the family during this difficult time.
Charlie Biter
Charlie had back surgery on Wednesday morning and was back home by lunchtime. With him and Camille we give thanks to God that, except for the soreness from the incision, he’s able to walk without pain for the first time in months.

Bess Henderson will undergo surgery tomorrow. A recent tooth extraction isn’t healing due to heavy radiation she received several years ago as part of her cancer treatments. She hopes, and we hope with her, that this surgery will lead to healing.

Becky Adames is mourning the loss of her father who died on Friday. She is in Columbus to be with her sister and to make funeral arrangements. The two lost their mother about a year and a half ago. Thank you for keeping them in your prayers.
Spring Youth Retreat
Youth and counselors from all over Tennessee will gather this weekend at our camp in Bethany Hills. Eli Wilson, Meadow Wilson, and Sarah Matthews, along with Rico Carls (counselor) are Vine Street folk who will be attending.

Pastor Frank Rivera is recovering from surgery after suffering a massive heart attack last week. Frank and his wife, Justina, are co-pastors of Iglesia Cristiana (Discípulos de Cristo) here in Nashville.

Sebastian “Bash” LeBuhn has moved to a NICU step-down unit at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital for a few more days of observation. He has continued to thrive and grow (yesterday was his due date, he was seven weeks early at birth), and the move allows Casey and Michael to spend the night with him. We hope with them that he will be able to go home with them by the end of this week.
