Meda's friend

Meda Miller worked as a counselor at a Young Life camp this summer, A boy she worked with died by suicide two weeks ago, and his funeral was last week in Tuscaloosa. His death has been devastating for his family and friends, including their very close camp team. Thank you for remembering all of them in your prayers.

Thank you for your prayers

Ollie Thompson, the mother-in-law of Julia Keith, and grandmother of Johanna and Jude, is in surgery after breaking her femur on Wednesday. We pray for a successful procedure and quick recovery.

Shelton Pilkinton died at home on Thursday night. Thanks be to God for the life of this kind man. We continue to hold his family close in prayer, and we will share funeral plans once they have been confirmed.

Erica Hayden got word that her grandmother, Evelyn McKee, died early Friday morning in Pennsylvania. “She had been in decline for awhile, so while this isn't a surprise, the finality is tough. I ask for prayers for my family, particularly my mother and grandfather (they had been married for 65 years!).” 

Marsha McNatt

Thank you for continuing to keep the family of Lester McNatt’s sister-in-law, Marsha, in your prayers. Visitation will be at Lane Funeral Home (601 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN 37415) on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 with a service to follow. A graveside service will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Park (1306 Whitlock Avenue SW, Marietta, GA 30064) on Saturday, September 9 at 12:00 noon.

The Stevenson family

Cate Mart asks for our prayers for her friends, the Stevenson family. Josh and Anna and their daughters, Hadessah and Charlotte, but particularly Anna. She is about to deliver her third stillborn child, this one at 34 weeks. His name is Elisha and he is very loved. He joins his sisters who passed before him, Eden and Evangeline.”

Judi Sachs

Judi Sachs, who has been battling cancer for 4 1/2 years, asks for prayers for her upcoming surgery on Thursday, August 17th. Judi wants to express her gratitude for all of the love, prayers and support she has had through this time. She is especially grateful for the special people who are going to get her there and get her through it.
