The Magic of TNT

We are having a party for our TNT friends on Sunday, May 20 at 2 p.m. Among the festivities will be a magician and a balloon twister. Sound like fun? Come join us! The TNT Club is a dynamite ministry between adults with developmental disabilities, members of Vine Street Christian Church and community volunteers. This social group has been gathering together for over five decades, and it continues to rock the house with monthly events including bowling, talent shows, holiday parties, bingo and prom.

Volunteers and party-goers of all ages and abilities are always needed. To learn more about this ministry and possible volunteer opportunities, please contact Hope Hodnett (

Wisdom Literature Series Rolls On

A significant portion of the Old Testament writings are often referred to as Wisdom Literature. Through the end of May, our adult Christian education class is focusing on some of these writings. Join us as we grow in faith, knowledge and wisdom! We gather at 9 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Keep Calm, Camp On

Great outdoor fun! Rich connections to God! Amazing friends, old and new! It’s all happening this summer at regional church camps. The Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Tennessee welcome children and youth (and a few adults) to renew and recharge their faith at Bethany Hills Camp & Conference Center, just 45 minutes from Vine Street!

All camps help participants to meet God in fresh ways, mature personal faith and build community.

Here’s the fine print: Final registration is two weeks prior to each camp’s start date. Early-bird deadline (save $15) is May 1 for all camps, except Adventure Camp (no discount available).
