Virginia Brooks, former Secretary for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Tennessee, asks for prayers for her Sister-in-law, Miriam Fuller. Miriam has undergone surgery for a blood clot in her brain; at this time her condition is very serious.

Ruth is recuperating from knee surgery she had on Thursday at Baptist hospital. We are grateful that the operation went well. Ruth is likely to begin physical therapy this weekend, possibly at Baptist hospital.

John Horst
John Horst, a friend of Pat Bentrup's, fell off a roof and broke four vertebrae. His wife, Martha, is doing much better, but continues to worry about him. Thank you for holding them in your prayers.
Nouvelle Alliance
Kadivezo Mbombo, a member of Nouvelle Alliance, is mourning the death of his brother, Merlin Kadivezo. Merlin was scheduled for heart surgery to remove a tumor in his heart, but died on Monday, March 1. Thank you for holding his family in your prayers.

Earthquake in Chile
Incredibly, another devastating earthquake has struck our hemisphere. At 3:34 a.m. local time a massive magnitude 8.8 earthquake struck Chile near the city of Concepción. Tsunami warnings have been issued for much of Pacific rim, including Hawaii. Some islands have already been hit.
We are grateful that our missionary, Elena Huegel, is well and safe, but we remember the many who have lost loved ones. At least 78 people have been killed.

Don Zirkle's father, Leon Franklin, died early Sunday morning, February 21. A memorial service is being planned for Sunday, February 28, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Please keep this family in your prayers.

There was an electrical fire at the Bethany Hills Lodge on Saturday, February 20. Thankfully nobody was injured, and thanks to the quick response by our camp manager, David Johnson the fire was quickly extinguished. The Johnson family had quite a weekend!
Steve Lowry was badly injured in a car accident on February 17. He broke his left hip, arm, and wrist. He had hip surgery, and is scheduled for surgery on February 23 to repair the fractures in his arm. Hold him and Jerri close in your prayers today and in the weeks of recovery ahead.

Bronson and Margaret Netterville celebrate the birth of a great-granddaughter. Schuylia Jade Slack was born on February 5 in Honolulu.
Richard "Dick" McLaughlin died on February 18 after a long battle with multiple myeloma. We are grateful that he was at home and surrounded by loved ones when he passed on. We continue to hold Dava and her family, especially TJ, Katie, and Jack in our prayers.

Amy Mears is one of the pastors at Glendale Baptist Church. Her family was in a car accident on Wednesday night, when their vehicle hit a deer. Their youngest daughter, Emmie, was killed. The funeral was on Saturday.
Dorothy Roach has kidney cancer; one kidney was removed on February 15.
Lois Smith is recuperating from knee surgery. She will be unable to drive for several weeks

Steve Lowry
Steve was in a serious car accident earlier today. He is at Vanderbilt hospital with a broken hip, a broken arm, and a broken wrist, all on his left. He is scheduled for surgery in the morning, and the plan is to repair all fractures with just one visit to the OR. Steve is grateful to be alive, and he asks for our prayers now and in the weeks of recovery ahead.

Thank you so much for keeping my mother, Betsy Pinckley, in your prayers. Your love and support was wonderful and felt by all of us.
Surgery went very well and rehabilitation is going well also. She is home now and receives outpatient physical therapy. I know that she will be chasing her grandchildren soon!
